Feels like HOME! I recently stayed at Villa la Estancia and it was nothing short of spectacular!! Giovanni who I rented through and his staff were helpful and so friendly and really made my stay feel like I was a personal guest of theirs!
The condo itself is absolutely beautiful and so well maintained…. My 50th Birthday! Here are the top reasons why some Cabo beaches are unswimmable, and what you can do as a visitor. Arguably the number one reason to avoid swimming in some Cabo beaches is the presence of rip currents.
Sometimes, they can be so strong and unexpected that even expert swimmers get swept out to sea. Rip currents are present in numerous beaches around the world, not just Los Cabos. But because Cabo is such a popular tourist destination and you want to be there to have fun, you should be aware — and steer clear — of this risk.
This is a risk for bathers who are unprepared for the quick change in water depth. In addition, the sharp drop-off allows waves to grow huge and crash fiercely. A beach with strong, unpredictable waves would not be friendly to leisurely swimmers. The Baja California region is blessed with amazing marine life.
Some parts of Los Cabos are wonderful for snorkeling — the underwater flora and fauna are a remarkable sight. However, for some casual bathers, this might mean encountering some unexpected jellies, sea urchins, and coral even in shallow water. Make sure to arrange for your return trip. Swimming and snorkeling is good on the Sea of Cortez side depending upon the water conditions. The water is calm so is great for swimming. Here you will find all the water activity rentals. Since this beach is the most popular, it tends to be very crowded.
This hidden gem is a private, but public beach, with no vendors and is great for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking. It is the closest surfing area to Cabo San Lucas. Great to explore the rocky terrain. Although swimming is generally safe, proceed with caution during times when the sea is rough. This is a common diving location for tours. Customer service was excellent, the staff were welcoming, professional and very accommodating.
