During the Quincy invasion, Komamura uses his family's secret technique to become human but to do this, he first needs to rip his own heart out of his chest.
After using this technique, he transforms into a dog, and he is forced to stay in that form for the rest of his life, but he is still strong enough to train his former right-hand man and successor. No one thought that Bleach would be able to introduce a new villain who was even more powerful and menacing than Aizen, but then Yhwach came along and literally became a God. Yhwach is the son of the Soul King, and he wished to take the throne from his father so he can fuse the living world with Hueco Mundo and Soul Society in order to create a world where no one feared death.
When Rukia first appears, she is an ordinary Soul Reaper who willingly transfers her powers to Ichigo so he can defeat a Hollow, but she ends up being branded as a criminal by her own people. As the series goes on fans see just how powerful Rukia really is and by the time the series ends, she even shows how formidable her Bankai is.
In the final two chapters, Rukia is revealed to have risen through the ranks of the very same organization that wanted to execute her to become the new Captain of Squad And once again, she and Ichigo get into an argument like they did in the very first chapter. From the very beginning, Bleach focused on battles between Soul Reapers and Hollows but following the events of the Thousand-Year Blood War, there has been no fighting whatsoever for over a decade.
This is why Ichigo has gone on to take over his family's clinic while Orihime becomes a housewife. This peace exists because the Quincy forced Soul Society and Hueco Mundo to join forces, and it does not hurt that Harribel, the de facto queen of the Hollows, owes her life to Ichigo and his friends.
There are a number of plot points in the final chapters of Bleach that would benefit greatly from further development in the renewed anime series. The Royal Guard and the importance of the Soul King both felt underdeveloped, with plenty more to dig into after years of building up the mysterious chief of Soul Society.
More significantly, the final battle between Ichigo and Yhwach was afforded only a scant few chapters, leaving the true power of Ichigo's ultimate transformation with untapped potential.
Bleach now has the opportunity to make the fight against Yhwach as epic as the bouts Ichigo had against the likes of Ulquiorra and Byakuya. Bleach 's animated Thousand-Year Blood War could also fix some lingering plot holes and unanswered questions, and shine a spotlight on certain characters the manga's final chapters didn't have space for. For example, what happened to Kisuke Uruhara at the end of the story? What do the various missing Shinigami Bankai forms look like?
Towards the end of Bleach, Mr. Kubo's health was declining due to stress and illness , and he was having trouble continuing his tale. Thus, the lengthy Thousand-Year Blood War arc came to an abrupt end when Ichigo and Uryu Ishida defeated Yhwach once and for all, leaving countless loose ends in the process.
However, the manga only had two more chapters after that, and many loose threads were either tied up briefly or not at all. Grimmjow's and Nelliel's fates were left unknown, for example, and the final chapter jumped forward a handful of years to show Ichigo and Orihime married as a happy family, including their young son Kazui.
Uryu and Chad made brief cameos, as did Rukia and Renji, but little else is known of their fates. Now they finally have peace, and readers get to know very little of what their peacetime lives are like. No one ever saw Ichigo and Orihime declare their love for one another, and Rukia was only briefly shown becoming squad 13's official Captain, with nothing known of her leadership skills. Chad's budding career as a professional fighter is only hinted at, and no one could see Uryu mend ties with his father Ryuken and begin his own career in medicine.
